Why We're Different:

• BWC donates 1% of all revenues to environmental cleanup and advocacy. We support sound policies like public funding for mass transit and the broad enforcement of the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts.
• BWC is not a part of the Highway Lobby -- the congolmerate of automobile, oil, tire, and cement interests that advocates for more and larger road building against the development of infrastucture and safety protections for other modes of transportation, including mass transit, bicycling, and walking.

• Read other articles about AAA and the highway lobby, including "AAA Paves the Road to Hell" from the May, 2002 issue of Harper's.
• BWC is generally less expensive than AAA. And when we're not, we will match a AAA price. Price matching applies to new membership only. Prices to be matched must be for regularly priced and equivalent membership programs.
• BWC will waive our $12 non-refundable signup fee for AAA members that want to make the switch. For other new members, your current auto club must charge you a signup fee in order to be eligible for the fee waiver.

About BWC:

We're nothing like AAA or any other auto club. We have the same reliable emergency roadside assistance, but we have a unique policy agenda.
