| Emergency Road and Tow Service |
If your car is disabled and cannot be driven safely under its own power, you may contact the toll free dispatch service for assistance. If we are unable to locate a facility, you may obtain preauthorization to contact the facility of your choice and submit a claim for reimbursement up to $50 for Basic Memberships or $100 for Premium Memberships. (TX - dispatch only)
You may receive service on any vehicle you are in at the time the vehicle becomes disabled. You may be taken to the nearest service station or to your home. In some cases, you may not be taken to the location of your choice. For example, we will not tow you and your vehicle to a vacation home or to a friends' house. Be sure to have your active membership number available when you place the service call. Members are expected to be with the vehicle at time of service.
Roadside assistance is available throughout North America. This includes all fifty US states (Hawaii and Alaska), the District of Columbia and Canada. Auto club members are entitled to four service calls per year.
Service calls are defined as one of the following: towing, battery assistance, lockout assistance, flat tire assistance, fuel delivery or extrication.
Should your car become operable before the tow truck arrives please call Better World Club immediately to cancel the call. If you do not contact us it will count as one of your 4 annual service calls.
Towing
When towing is necessary, your vehicle will be towed up to your benefit limit, up to 5 or 100 miles at no extra cost. If you chose to contact the facility of your choice on your own, you will be reimbursed up to $50/$100, respective of your benefit limit (pre-authorization required). Certain restrictions apply. (AAA does not guarantee immediate availability for Flatbed trucks)
Better World Club has fulfilled your towing request when your disabled vehicle reaches the appointed destination. Any repairs or additional towing for the same breakdown will be provided at your own expense.
Local ordinances may prohibit the service provider responding to the call to carry more than one passenger. If necessary, the Club will assist members in finding alternate transportation to the towing destination and beyond at the member's expense.
Battery Service
If a battery failure occurs, a jump-start will be applied to start your vehicle or minor emergency mechanical adjustments will be applied to your car at the point of disablement.
Flat Tire Assistance
We will install your inflated spare. (If you have no spare or if your spare is flat, no reimbursement is available for the cost of tire repair or the second service call to return the repaired tire to the disabled vehicle.) Better World Club doesn't bring new tires out to members. If the spare is flat, missing, or the original tire cannot be removed the vehicle will be towed.
Gasoline, Oil, Fluid and Water Delivery Service
An emergency supply of gasoline, oil, water or other materials or parts will be delivered to the member's vehicle for any member in immediate need. The member must pay for the liquids, parts or materials delivered. Delivery of diesel, biodiesel, or ethanol fuel is not available.
Extrication
We will extricate your vehicle from ditch, snow, mud or sand. This benefit cannot be used for everyday normal snow removal. |
| Emergency Lockout/Locksmith/Winch Benefit |
Auto club members will be reimbursed up for assistance if you or your enrolled associate member are locked out of your car, or require winching. Members with Premium Auto coverage will be reimbursed up to $100, and members with Basic Auto will be reimbursed up to $50. The following conditions apply (TX - dispatch only):
- For winching, service providers must have a safe and solid position to work from.
- Vehicle must be owned or leased (12-month lease or longer) by the member. (Kansas resident are not restricted to owned vehicles.)
- Itemized receipt or statement from commercial locksmith service or other service facility, detailing the amount charged for lockout service must be included when filing a claim. At time of lockout, member must be with owned or leased vehicle.
- Private citizen's assistance is not reimbursable (N/A - TX).
- Any and all taxes are not included (N/A - TX).
Include your Auto Club membership number when filing an Emergency Lockout Claim.
Each household is eligible for this service four times per year.

| Accident Coverage |

In the event of an accident, your insurance
provider should take responsibility for your vehicle and should
be your first point of contact. If you are not able to obtain
service through your insurance company, we will dispatch service
to assist you. Roadside assistance coverage is limited to
$50 and $100 for Basic Auto and Premium Auto memberships,
respectively. As with winching, the following conditions apply
(TX - dispatch only):
- Vehicle must be owned or leased (12-month lease or longer) by the member. (Kansas resident are not restricted to owned vehicles.)
- Itemized receipt or statement from service provider or other service facility, detailing the amount charged for the service must be included when filing a claim.
- Any and all taxes are not included (N/A - TX). |

State, city and regional maps are free to auto club members and can be ordered at any time for no extra charge. We carry a wide variety of detailed road maps. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery. International maps (aside from Canada and Mexico) are not available at this time. More

Hotel Discounts - Auto club members save up to 50% on selected hotels and motels including some of the largest, best-known chains.
Car Rental Savings - Auto club members are eligible for savings at major car rental companies. Please refer to your membership handbook for a complete list of participating companies.

| Personal Protection Benefits |
Personal Effects Coverage - If your car is stolen or vandalized, we will reimburse you up to the benefit limit ($500). There must be an incident report made to the state or local police. (Not available in CA, MA, MN, TN, TX and VA.)
Auto Theft Reward - We will pay for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person who steals your car. Benefit limit $5,000. (This reward is not payable to members, their immediate family and law officers.) (Not available in MN.)
Hit-And-Run Reward - We will pay for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a a hit-and-run driver who damages your car or injures you or your enrolled family member(s) while in your car. Benefit limit $1,000. (This reward is not payable to members, their immediate family and law officers.) (Not available in MN or TX.)
Ambulance Benefit - Should you or your enrolled associate member require the need of an ambulance as a result of a vehicle accident, you will be reimbursed up to $50 to offset the cost. (Not available to residents of KS, MN, TX or VA.)

| Emergency Travel Expense Reimbursement |
If your car is disabled as a result of an accident (not mechanical failure) 50 miles or more from your home, you will be reimbursed up to $100 per day for five days (120 hours) from the time of the accident while your car is being repaired, for a maximum of $500 for any combination of expenses for meals, lodging, car rental, or carrier transportation as long as such accident has been reported to state or local police. (For residents of California, coverage provided by American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida). Please check your membership handbook for details.

| Legal Defense Benefits |
Bail Bond Benefit - If you need to post bond for a traffic violation arrest, we cover both you and your enrolled family members. You will be reimbursed for the bail bond premium for a required bond up to $5,000.00*.($200 in TX. Not available in VA.) (Some limitations apply. Please refer to your Service Contract for details.) (For residents of CA, coverage is provided by American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida.) Benefit not available in MN.
Legal Defense Benefit - If you must appear in court as a result of a traffic violation, you will be reimbursed up to your benefit limit (a maximum of $1,000 per occurrence) for the fee charged by an attorney of your choice to defend you. (Not available in CA, NY or MN.)
