"Tucano” Package 3 days /2 nights $446 single 1st Day; Transfer from airport to lodge with reception and accommodation in chalet. Program ; reconnaissance tour through main infrastructure lodge followed with –short- nocturnal trek in primary forest. 2nd Day: Program; Full day jungle trek with emphasis on biodiversity in typical rainforest. 3rd Day; Program; 7:30 a.m. – Transfer to Manaus with visit to “Meeting of the Waters” prior return to the airport. Observation ; The Tucano package is the shortest stay possible. Due to the limited time available no river tour is included. "Arara" Package 4 days / 3 nights $ 580 single 1st Day; Transfer from airport to lodge with reception and accommodation in chalet. Program; reconnaissance tour through main infrastructure lodge followed with nocturnal trek in primary forest. 2nd day: Program: Full day jungle trek is organized for to-day. The guest can discuss overall programme with their guide; with or without lunch in one of survival camps or in main lodge. Possibilities of night spend in open forest; in hammocks. Overall emphasis is based on bio diversity primary forest and survival techniques. 3rd Day; Program: Full day Amazon River. Transfer to southern extreme of lodge (18 km. or 45 minutes) On way to embarkation spot the guest will obtain information about life conditions local community supported by the lodge. Boat tour will demonstrate a great natural wealth the Amazon River is offering to this region; Vitoria Regia (giant water lilies , grey and pink dolphins all year round, a large bird population , fishing for piranha and catfish completed with sunset tour and alligator spotting in the early evening. Return lodge around 8.30 p.m. 4th Day: Program; 7:30 a.m. – Transfer to Manaus with visit to “Meeting of the Waters” , prior return to the airport. |

“Garça” Package “Garça” Package 1st Day; Transfer from airport to lodge with reception and accommodation in chalet. Program; reconnaissance tour through main infrastructure lodge followed with nocturnal trek in primary forest. 2nd Day: Program: full day black water Urubu River with visit to Igapo (water forest) with stop at waterfall(s) swimming from one of many white beaches in combination with B.B.Q.and fishing. Visit to local caboclo family and their small manioc farm. A local community is visited with tour to school and medical centre. 3rd Day: Program: full day jungle trek with explanations of fragile eco environment, navigating and survival techniques. The coming night can be spent in one of our basic campsites to experience the jungle by night. 4th Day; Program: Full day Amazon River. Full day black water river “ Rio Preto da Eva” , locally known for having two eco-systems due to the influence of the nearby Amazon River. Night is spend with local river family. 5th Day: Program; full day Amazon River, as described on day 4 Garça Package. 6th Day: Program: free day in the lodge, own programme. 7th Day ; 07.30 a.m. – Transfer to Manaus with visit to “Meeting of the Waters” , prior return to airport. |
Conditions and Observations
Prices:
- Based on U.S. Dollars
- “Single” means traveler on individual basis. “Double Occupation” on basis of 2 persons.
- Children between 6 and 12 years, have 75% discount of Single Person rate.
- Children between 13 and 16 years, have 50% discount of Single person rate.
- Maximum 2 children. (Contact lodge in case of questions).
- Additional nights; $ 120 per night Single person, $ 80 per person Double Occupation.
- Group policy; ask for special rates, one person free for every 10 paying guests.
- Early pick up, before standard 2 p.m. transfer, $ 75 single, $ 50 p.p. Double Occupation.
- Late check out; to be communicated with lodge prior reservation.
- Private bookings require 50% down payment at time of reservation to secure apartment.
Transfers:
- Are included in Amazonat packages, commencing with airport pick up and return upon completion of package.
- Hour of transfer to lodge is based upon arrival Varig and Tam early afternoon flights. In Principe all transfers to Amazonat are around 2 p.m. daily.
- In the case of late arrivals due to delayed flights Amazonat Lodge will decide timing of transfer, not later than 3 p.m.
- Early pick up in hotel Manaus, and communicated with the lodge, will be subjected to extra compensation fee.
- Late check outs in the lodge will be subjected to extra compensation fee.
- Duration of transfer will take 2 hours by land. Automatically included in all packages.
- Duration of transfer by boat will take appr. 7 hours and is only possible after consultation with lodge.
Accommodation:
- All apartments in Amazonat are based on duplex chalets and offer one Queen size bed, one single bed and one bed sofa.
- All units do have private shower and toilet facilities.
- Apartments provided with small fridge and ventilators. ( nights are always cool at Amazonat)
- Drinking water in apartments is from mineral water quality and free of charge.
- Apartments are hermetically sealed off from out- and inside.
- Energy; 120 Volts 60 Hz. 20 hours per day.
Activities:
- Tours are commencing upon arrival in the lodge, around 4 p.m.
- Tours are conducted with maximum participation of 8 guests per guide in forest and river.
- Tours are being conducted in region free of other tourist activities.
- Tours are done as per package reserved; the lodge keeps the right to change sequence of activities.
- Meeting of the Waters tour; as per standard on the day of departure prior drop off at the airport.
Food:
- Included in the package price.
- Unless specifically mentioned the food presented in the lodge is “A la carte “, two choices per daily changing couvert.
Drinks:
- All beverages in the lodge are extra charged and are not included in package price.
Luggage; no limitation applicable, however we advise 30 kgs (60 lbs.) Per guest maximum.
Cancellation Re-fund:
- More than one (1) month prior arrival full return - $ 50 administration costs. Less then one (1) month; no refund.
What to bring:
- Light clothes, cotton short, jeans and T-shirts. Sun block lotions, insect repellent and head protection. During rainy season bring protective light weight clothing. Swimming suit. Small flash light advised. Shoes; for jungle trekking good walking shoes and/or old tennis shoes are recommended.
Liability: Amazonat Jungle Lodge is not liable for any accidental or occurrences of any kind which may happen due to forces of nature, physical exertion for which a client is not prepared, or other causes, known and unknown.
